Guy gave me a reasonable quote but then never bothered to turn up to complete the work. Got rescheduled numerous times then eventually he just didn’t bother to show up or answer the phone. By the sounds of recent reviews on here I’ve had a lucky escape. 

Winter and Son - AVOID THIS ROOFER AT ALL COSTS. I feel sorry for the father who has spent years building up a good reputation only for his son to ruin it. Paul (the guy said he was the son, maybe imposters?) was more interested in getting as much money out of us as he possibly could. Once the work was done and a 10 year guarantee was proudly handed across he took the quite substantial cheque and was off. During the next couple of days we had heavy rain and, the roof leaked worse than ever before. We called him, he said he was busy but would be there at noon on Monday. Come Monday we are waiting, no sign of Paul. We call him - he says he's on his way, 20 minutes. Of course, he doesn't come. We call him again but he doesn't pick up the phone. We message him on WhatsApp, he doesn't respond, obviously playing for time while our cheque clears. So, we contact another roofer, a proper professional, who comes and tells us the repairs have been incorrectly done. Furthermore, a lot of the work Paul did (eg felt protector) didn't need doing at all and the one section of felt that did need replacing Paul didn't patch correctly, hence the continued leak. So all in all, a bit of a nightmare. Fortunately we have a reliable roofer on the job now however we have paid a lot of money to this cowboy who, we feel, just ripped us off. Karma will come for you Paul, just wait and see.

Still trying to find the two scammers who called themselves Winter and Son Roofing, one of whom calls himself William Manning a liar and a rogue who robbed us blind and left the roof worse than it was before, giving us a worthless Ten-year guaranty. If anyone has information where I can find them I would be glad to find them. The address given on their website is a phoney address. I promise I will find them. My roof is leaking worse than ever

offered a 10 year guarantee on their work which is worthless as they will not come back to the property to repair the work. 
Very delicate man who just kept saying how much it costs him for repair work on the existing job. Refuses to come & has insulted the property owner who is an elderly woman.
Avoid. 

Followed this van through our beautiful village and saw the driver throw a load of rubbish out of the window. Pulled up behind him and he’s on the phone. They won’t be going my roof any time soon!

William was friendly polite and very honest. He came gave the quote and completed the work neatly and very professional. His staff were polite friendly and very efficient. They take great care and pride in their work. I am very pleased and I have asked them to carry out another job in the near future. Highly recommend them. Especially for their honesty and trust worthiness.Great job.

Highly recommendable, reliable and guarantee superior workmanship. Craig repaired our leaking roof, re-leaded and re-bricked both chimneys to a extremely high standard. Five star rating deserved.

Paul came and took all the spray foam out of our roof. They replace batons and new felt and loft insulation. They were very friendly effectively and tidy even worked through rain . I would total recommend them having just moved to the area 4 weeks ago so not knowing who to ask but very pleased with the finished roof .
